One of my favorite parts of San Diego Comic Con is exploring Artists’ Alley. Artists’ Alley is the perfect way to add some art to your collection, and you can find just about any fandom available. Today, we’re going to turn the spotlight to one of our favorite SDCC artist finds, Camilla d’Errico. Camilla d’Errico is a pop surrealist painter and artist, and her art often features bold and colorful designs. She’ll be at booth #4723 throughout the convention.

Over the years, d’Errico has expanded her available merchandise past just art prints or original sketches to clothing, bags, sculptures, etc. She even features original small art sketches available every year. Her latest instagram post shows the original sketches that she will be bringing to the convention, featuring Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and more.

Convention Exclusives

As far as exclusives go, d’Errico has a few amazing items to keep an eye on. First, she has an exclusive textured canvas print from her painting “Marianna’s Tide.” According to her instagram post: “The print is produced by creating 7 separate layers and printing each one individually. There are only 2 printers in the world that can create prints like this! So it’s extremely rare and incredible.” The canvas prints are an official San Diego Comic Con exclusive. There will only be 25 of them available at $550 each and will come signed with a COA and framed, so it’s ready to hang.

If that exclusive is a little rich for your blood, she just revealed Mystery Boxes that will also be at her booth. Usually, she gives a sneak peek as to what will be included inside, but this year, she’s keeping the whole thing a mystery. All we know is that each box will be sold for $75 (it will include $150 of merchandise and art inside), and the boxes will come with 11 mystery items. Each box will have a limited edition white holofoil print, but we don’t know yet what that print is.

You could also look at Camilla d’Errico’s two other Official San Diego Comic Con Exclusives. She has her Moonflower puzzle and bandana set for $40, inspired by Sailor Moon. If you’re looking for an art print, her final Convention exclusive is a print titled, “Self Pawtrait,” limited to 100 pieces. If you ask me, you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. If you’d like to hear more from d’Errico, you can find her live painting on Thursday July 21st at booth 5104 from 11am-12pm (PT). She will also be taking part in an Illustrators Roundtable panel on Saturday July 23rd from 10am-11am (PT) in Room 25ABC.

Find Camilla d’Errico at booth #4723, and happy shopping!
