The mass exodus seems to be continuing for October releases. First it was The Witcher 3, then Battlefield: Hardline, now the coop monster shooter, Evolve, has just been added to the list.
Take-Two just released its financial results, which includes a list of scheduled releases, and Evolve has mysteriously dropped out of this year. Evolve is now set for a February 10, 2015 release date.
Little is known as to why the game has been delayed, but it could be a blessing in disguise. The last half of 2014 is packed with some heavy-hitters which include; the usual sports titles, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Destiny, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, amongst others. Having watched live gameplay of Evolve during E3 and SDCC, it looked like a competent title, but adding polish is never a bad thing. Once more info is released on the delay we will be sure to let you know.
Check out the reveal of the Kraken.
Evolve is being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, published by 2K, will be released on February 10, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
