The holiday season is quickly approaching and that means two things: a ton of big games are about to be released and there are about to be a bunch of very sad wallets. Although the biggest games are releasing between October and November, Bungie is leading the onslaught of games with Destiny, which releases on Sept. 9. Check out the reveal trailer for the playable location, Venus.
As of this moment, Bungie has confirmed that the following locations will be playable locations in the game: Earth, Mars, Venus, The Moon. While those are destinations confirmed to be playable by Bungie; Mercury, Europa (Jupiter’s moon) and Saturn (The Space Shuttle Cassini to be precise) are rumored to be playable to some extent by information acquired from Grimoire cards or through the release of Crucible Maps. Check out a couple videos of the locations that are playable in Destiny below.
Mars
The Moon
The game is shaping up quite nicely, and if the Beta is anything to go by, we will be playing Destiny for many, many months to come. With two expansions already in the works (The Dark Below, House of Wolves), Activision is looking for Destiny to be a pillar franchise, and we wouldn’t hope for anything less.
Destiny is being developed by Bungie, published by Activision, and will be released on Sept. 9, 2014 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
I really want the name of the song in the Venus trailer. It’s five kinds of epic.
no doubt! All the music used would make one serious soundtrack haha
